The classifier disc cell mill is divided into three parts:the premix chamber,the grinding chamber,and the classifier.Material is drawn into the premix chamber by an induced draft fan for preliminary mixing,ensuring that the material enters the grinding chamber in a uniform fluidized state.The main component of the grinding chamber is a vertically installed multi-stage rotor,which consists of multiple discs sandwiched between two support disc plates mounted on the main shaft.
The interior wall of the grinding chamber is lined with vertical grooves that are 6 to 8 millimeters deep,and the gap between the rotor discs and the lining strips is 2 to 5 millimeters.When the rotor spins at high speed,it generates turbulent airlow in a"nested"pattern.The airlow pressure,friction,and shearing forces,along with a chamber wind speed of 30 meters per second and a rotor linear speed that can reach up to 120 meters per second,quickly reduce the material intoultra-fine powder.
After grinding,the material is carried by the airflow into the classifier section.The entire system's airflow and the classifier can be adjusted according to the particle size requirements.Larger particles are separated by the classifier wheel and,under the influence of gravity,fallback into the grinding chamber for further grinding until the desired particle size is achieved.
The pin disc mill with twin rotor is an integrated piece of equipment that combines both mechanical and air- swept grinding methods,featuring a horizontal design.Inside the chamber,there are two layers of disc rotors and toothed stators that work together.The unique disc rotors,when spinning at high speed,create an orderly air vortex with the toothed stators.This vortex causes the material within the grinding chamber to be sheared and impacted by the toothed nests and discs,quickly reducing the material into ultra-fine powder.The interaction between the disc rotors and the toothed stators ensures a thorough grinding process,which guarantees an even distribution of particle sizes in the finished powder.
