In the crisp autumn air, bountiful harvests adorn the branches; on this auspicious occasion, a new chapter begins. On September 28, 2026, the completion and commissioning ceremony for the Huatong Intelligent Equipment R&D and Production Center was solemnly held in the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone of Changsha City.
Huang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, Zhang Keqin, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhang Fen, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, along with other distinguished leaders and guests, attended the ceremony, joining all employees of Hunan Huatong Zhongzhi Technology Co., Ltd., its partners, and guests from various sectors to witness this momentous occasion.
The ceremony commenced with a special video titled “Huatong’s Ten-Year Journey.” Over the past decade, through unwavering dedication and meticulous craftsmanship, the video retraced Huatong’s path of steadfast commitment to its core business and relentless pursuit of excellence. Following this, company leaders reviewed the project’s achievements and outlined their vision for future development. Amidst the witnessing of all attendees, Director Huang Tao officially announced the project’s entry into full-scale production. As the audience joined in a synchronized countdown, thunderous applause erupted, marking the official transition of Huatong’s Intelligent Equipment R&D and Manufacturing Center into a new phase of production and operations.
The Huatong Intelligent Equipment R&D and Manufacturing Center project is located in the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone of Changsha, covering a total land area of 44.50 mu, with a total floor area of 32,429.29 square meters and a total investment of RMB 160 million. Anchored by the core strategy of “using intelligent equipment to drive industrial upgrading,” the project focuses on three key sectors—new energy, fine chemicals, and food and pharmaceuticals—aiming to establish a high-end intelligent equipment industry base that integrates R&D, manufacturing, and services.
The project has advanced steadily and efficiently: a Strategic Cooperation Agreement was signed in February 2024, followed by the State‑Owned Construction Land Use Right Transfer Contract in December 2024. The project commenced in July 2025, with full-scale construction of the plant’s pile foundation beginning in September 2025. Completion and acceptance are scheduled for August 2026, with official commissioning set for September 2026.
From the start of full-scale construction to completion and commissioning, it took just one year. Behind this remarkable pace lies the steadfast leadership and unwavering support of the Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone. The Zone has consistently prioritized the Huatong project as a key industrial initiative, ensuring it remains firmly on the agenda and under close oversight. Relevant departments have proactively stepped forward and provided end-to-end follow-up, delivering highly responsive, seamless coordination across administrative procedures—including land allocation, planning permits, construction approvals, and竣工验收—while rigorously streamlining processing timelines. In doing so, they have leveraged the “Wangcheng Speed” and the “Wangcheng Warmth” to provide robust support and ensure the project’s successful implementation.
From strategic signing to land transfer, from project launch to full-scale construction commencement, and from structural completion to竣工验收, every critical milestone has been underpinned by the care and support of all levels and departments within the Economic Development Zone, enabling enterprises to focus wholeheartedly on construction, production, and development.
The completion and commissioning of Huatong’s Intelligent Equipment R&D and Production Center mark not only a new milestone in the company’s history but also a fresh starting point as Huatong embarks on a journey toward intelligent, large-scale, and high‑quality development.
